First, it is our great hope that you are safe and well during this difficult period. Please know that our customers are at the center of everything we do. We are here with you and for you!
HarvesTime Foods will continue to fight the good fight and will continue to meet these challenges with hard work, adaptability and a smile on our faces (even if some of them are hidden behind masks!)....
Social Distancing, Face Masks, And Sanitizing Surfaces
To our valued customer: we want to let you know that we are as concerned as you regarding the preventative measures taken for the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are working longer hours to ensure that we can provide you with the best service possible and have made sure to continually clean and sanitize our store as recommended. We are continuously sanitizing shopping carts and common area surfaces. Last week, to further protect you and our cashiers, we installed plexiglass screens at our registers. We have marked the floor to help you distance yourselves while waiting at registers. Also, the CDC has issued new recommendations, advising individuals to wear cloth face coverings in stores and pharmacies where physical distancing is more challenging. Please consider bringing your favorite scarf or old t-shirt to cover with while shopping if you don’t already have a mask.
Our family and staff are dedicated and thankful to you as always, we are doing our best to provide you with what you need during this time.
Senior and At-risk Shopping, Every Day from 7AM-8:30AM
To further provide support to our seniors and at-risk customers we are dedicating 7AM-8:30AM to them so that they can get what they need. We trust that our community will embrace this shift and thank you for helping us keep the store open and safe for all.
You and your family are VERY important to us and we have implemented extra measures to ensure that we can provide you with what you need. We ARE continually stocking our shelves and currently have plenty of supplies. As of now we don't have any limits on products but encourage you to be mindful of our neighbors and ask that you do not purchase more than you need so that we can ensure that everyone has the opportunity to provide for themselves. With that in mind, If we do impose a limit, it will be to ensure that we can provide the best change to all of our customers of purchasing what they need. We will be providing daily updates but you can always ask one of our managers if there's something you are looking for that you can't find.
Through effort and creative sourcing we are able to keep HarvesTime Foods well stocked. We are trying diligently to have all your favorite items and we are so grateful for your patience if one of them is unavailable. It may be coming in soon, or it may be something that will be delayed because of a production pause or slowdown in transport. Fortunately, we have many alternate products to consider.
Service Fee Update
When the State of Illinois issued a 'shelter in place' order HarvesTime Foods offered complimentary personal shopping/curbside pickup, to increase safety for our customers, and hired several new employees to provide this service. Given the long term nature of this order and our strong intention not to raise product prices, it is necessary for us to revise the service fee for curbside pickup, as of April 10th.
Same Day Pickup Update
You can place your order at HarvesTimeFoods.com before 2PM and we do our best to have it ready in 4 hours or you can choose a later date/time. Any orders placed after 2PM will be ready the next day by 11AM.
Curbside Pickup Procedure
We are pleased to offer curbside pickup for your online orders. Your safety and well-being is of utmost concern to us. Just call us when you arrive and we will have someone on staff bring your order out to you. If you prefer to pick it up in person you can still do so! We are taking every precaution to ensure that your food is handled safely and with care.
Here's How It Works...
1. PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE
When you place a curbside order we are going to do our best to fill every product on your order. Please know that even with our best efforts some products are not available as our inventory is constantly changing due to high demand. With your permission we are going to substitute similar products (you can toggle your preference for substitutions when you place your order). Your final charge is based on product availability and needed adjustments (weights or substitutions), plus a small service fee.
2. WE WILL CALL YOU WHEN IT'S READY
Once your order is packed, we then call you to let you know that it is ready for pick up.
3. PICK UP YOUR ORDER — CALL US WHEN YOU ARRIVE!
We have a lot of calls coming in, especially if you come in the earlier part of your pickup window so please be patient and keep trying.
Payments For Online Orders Are Due At Pickup
The final step is to complete your transaction, we can either come out to you and get your credit card for curbside pickup or you can come in the store if you prefer to finish in-person. We have to adjust the final bill which changes once we select your items based on the exact weight of produce, meats and some deli items.
Home Delivery Option Temporarity Unavailable
